TheASLsystemsharesthesameleverswitchasthecruise
controlsystem,locatedtotheleftofthesteeringwheel
belowtheindicatorstalk.Theswitchcanbetoggled
betweenbothfunctions,howeveronlyonefunctioncan
operateatanyonetime.

ThedesiredtargetspeedoftheASLsystemisdisplayedin
theinstrumentinformationcluster,referto"Information
Centre"inthe"InstrumentsandControls"section.With
theignitionswitchinpositionIIandtheleverswitchin"ASL
Standby"(7ingure),theASLfunctionisinstandbymode
bydefault,brieymovingtheleverswitchup/down(1,2)
adjuststhetargetspeedoftheASL.Therangeoftarget
speedadjustmentis20-80mphor30-130km/h.
Thetargetspeedlimitvaluewillbeincreasedordecreased
by5mphor5km/heverytimetheleverswitchisbriey
movedupwardsordownwards.
