FittingtheSpareWheel
Regularlycheckthesparewheeltyre
pressure,itmaynotbeusedforlong
periodsoftime.Aftertment,attherst
opportunitycheckandadjustthetyre
pressure.
Thewheelboltsmustbetightenedtothe
speciedtorqueafterchangingawheel
(120
130Nm).
1Beforeraisingthecar,usethevehicletooltoremove
eachwheelboltcap.Usethewheelboltspannerto
slackeneachbolthalfaturnanti-clockwise.
2T urnthehandleinaclockwisedirectionuntilthetyre
isclearoftheground.
3Removethewheelboltsandplacetheminthetooltray
topreventthemfrombeinglost.Makesurethevehicle
issteadyandthereisnoriskofslipormovement
beforeremovingwheelbolts.
4Removetheroadwheel.
Note:Avoidplacingwheelsfacedownonthe
ground-thesurfacemaybescratched.
5Fitthesparewheelandtightenthewheelboltswith
wheelboltspanneruntilthewheelisseatedrmly
againstthehub.
6Lowerthecarandremovethejack,thenFULLYtighten
thewheelboltsinadiagonalsequence.
7Finally,returnthetoolstothetoolbox,putthetoolbox
intothewellofthebootoor,tightenthesparewheel
retainingnuts,andputthereplacedwheelabovethe
toolboxinthewellintheloadspaceoor(facedown).
Lowerthebootoor,andputthebootstorageboxon
thebootoor.
Note:DONOTstandonthehandleofthewheelbolt
spanneroruseextensiontubeonthehandleofthe
spanner.
Note:Whenreplacingthewheel,pleasefullytighten
theboltsinthediagonalsequencetwice.
