Usage Features:
Before beginning any hair makeover, it is recommended to prepare the doll's hair by rinsing it with water and allowing it to air dry. This step helps remove any shaping gel that might be present. Users are also advised to cover their play area and clothing with a protective layer to prevent possible damage from the cosmetics. Any protective seals on the cosmetics should be removed before use.
The device offers two main methods for applying color: hair chalk and color hair cream.
For applying hair chalk:
- A 1/2 inch (12 mm) section of hair is selected.
- The hair section is placed between the plates of the chalk applicator, with the chalk on the top side of the hair and the sponge on the underside.
- The applicator is held at the root of the hair, clamped over the section, and firmly pulled down to the bottom of the strand.
- The hair is then released from the applicator. This process can be repeated as necessary to achieve the desired results.
For applying color hair cream:
- A different section of hair is chosen.
- The color hair cream is opened, and the applicator wand is used to apply the color to the strand.
- The application starts from the root and works down to the bottom of the hair strand.
To add glitter:
- The glitter hair gel is opened.
- The applicator brush is used to apply the glitter hair gel to a new section of hair. This allows users to add glitter and color to their own hair, mimicking the doll's style.
Tips for optimal usage include:
- For best results, it is advised not to layer hair chalk and color cream. If using color cream, it should be allowed to dry thoroughly before playing with the hair or using the hair brush.
- Glitter hair gel can be layered over color after the color has dried.
- To prevent the cosmetics from drying out easily, users should always close the cap on the color hair cream and glitter hair gel after use.
Maintenance Features:
The Rainbow High Hair Studio emphasizes easy cleanup and proper care of the cosmetics and styled hair.
- Removing Cosmetics from Hair: Cosmetics can be removed from hair (both the child's and the doll's) with warm water. It is important to always remove color from hair after playing. The Rainbow High Salon (sold separately) can also be used to rinse cosmetics from the doll's hair.
- Cleaning the Device and Play Area: The contents of the device can be washed with water. A damp cloth should be used to wipe clean any surfaces that have come into contact with the cosmetics. After cleaning, the items should be air-dried thoroughly in a well-ventilated area.
- Storage: Cosmetics should not be left in the sun or in very hot areas, as this can affect their quality and longevity.
- Hand Washing: Users should wash their hands thoroughly before and after using the cosmetics to prevent color transfer and maintain hygiene.
- The glitter hair gel and color hair cream are intended for use ONLY on the child's head hair or the hair of a Rainbow High Hair Play Surprise doll. They are not recommended for use on any other type of doll.
- Color transfer from pigments may occur. Users should protect or cover any play surface before using, as the cosmetics may damage or stain certain fabrics, carpeting, wood finishes, or other porous and polished surfaces. Wearing a protective layer over clothing is also recommended to prevent possible color transfer.
- Cosmetics should not be used on eyelashes or eyes. In case of contact with eyes, immediate rinsing with plenty of water and medical advice if necessary is required.
- The cosmetics are for external use only and should not be ingested. If swallowed, users should wash out their mouth with water, drink fresh water, and seek immediate medical advice without inducing vomiting.
- While laboratory tested and safe, some individuals may experience minor skin irritation. If this occurs, use should be discontinued, and a physician consulted.
- The product is not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts, which pose a choking hazard. It should be kept out of reach of very young children.
- Adult supervision is required when children are playing with water.
- Glitter hair gel is for decoration only.
