Slip the platter over the platter shaft and place the rubber mat on top.
Ensure the inside force canceler is set to OFF before proceeding with balance adjustments.
Lower the tonearm using the lifter lever to detach it from the arm rest.
Adjust the main weight to balance the tonearm horizontally without stylus touching the platter.
Align the '0' on the scale ring with the tracking force index line without moving the main weight.
Rotate the main weight to apply the cartridge's rated tracking force, e.g., 1.5g.
