Whenever possible, use several brakes at the same time during braking.
Change the brakes during long downhill rides to avoid overheating.

Damp or wet road surfaces result in a longer
braking distance. Be careful and reduce the
speed on slippery or uneven road surfaces.
WARNING
Operating the foot brake
During braking, shi the body so that the centre of gravity points towards the rear
wheel to achieve the best braking performance. Shiing your weight backwards /
downwards reduces the braking distance considerably.
