CLEANING AND DISINFECTING
The thermometer is 100 % waterproof and may be immersed in
water or disinfectant solution for cleaning with no problem. Then
wipe it off with a moist towel. Please use one of the following disin-
fectants for disinfecting, following the manufacturer’s instructions in
each case.
Note: Any other cleaning solution, dilution or cleaning method can
cause a malfunction of the thermometer!
BATTERY EXHAUSTION
When the «▼» symbol (upside-down triangle) appears in the lower
right of the display, the battery is exhausted and thermometer needs to
be replaced. For battery disposal please refer to «safety instructions».

damage causes by improper handling shall not be covered by the
guarantee. Batteries and packaging are also excluded from the guar-
antee. All other damage claims excluded. A guarantee claim must

NETTOYAGE ET DESINFECTION DU THERMOMETRE
Le thermomètre est entièrement étanche. Il peut être plongé dans de
l’eau ou dans une solution désinfectante pour être nettoyé sans prob-
lème. L’essuyer avec une serviette légèrement humidifiée. Utiliser un
des produits suivants pour procéder à la désinfection, en respectant
les consignes du fabricant dans chaque cas.
Remarque: L’utilisation d’un produit non préconisé, d’une dilution
différente ou d’une autre méthode de nettoyage risque de nuire au
fonctionnement du thermomètre.
DÉCHARGEMENT DE LA PILE
Lorsque le symbole «▼» (triangle inversé) apparaît au coin inférieur
droit de l'écran d'affichage, cela signifie que la pile est déchargée et
que le thermomètre doit être remplacé. Pour jeter les piles usées, se
reporter aux «Précautions d’emploi».
