4.3. Changing the air ﬁlter

Change ﬁlter every 30 days or when ﬁlter turns gray.

CAUTION:

• Never operate the unit without a ﬁlter.

• Do not substitute cotton or any other materials for the ﬁlters.

• Do not attempt to clean the ﬁlters or reuse a ﬁlter.

To replace the ﬁlter, follow these steps:

1. Change the ﬁlter only when the unit is off, unplugged and completely cool.

2. Gently pull the ﬁlter cap out of the compressor.

3. Remove the ﬁlter from the ﬁlter cap.

4. Place a new ﬁlter in the ﬁlter cap.

5. Return the ﬁlter cap to its place, ensuring that it is ﬁrmly in place.

DANGER: Electrical shock hazard. Do not disassemble unit housing. Pump maintenance must

be performed by qualiﬁed service technician.
