Microtech
e-tab 31
This device is compatible with the EU requirements
(1999/519 / CE), which aim at limiting the exposure of
the population to electromagnetic elds and at protecting
health.
These restrictions are part of a larger set of
recommendations for the protection of the population. These
recommendations have been developed and checked by
independent scientic organizations through periodic and
thorough scientic studies. The unit of measurement for
the limit recommended by the European Council for mobile
devices is the “Specic Absorption Rate” (SAR). SAR limit
is an average of 2.0 W / kg over 10 grams of body tissue.
It meets the requirements of the International Commission
on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP).
This device has been tested and found compliant with
ICNRP guidelines on exposure and to European standards
EN 62311 and EN 62209-2 concerning procedures close to
the body. The Specic Absorption Rate (SAR) is measured
with the device in direct contact with the body, transmitting
at maximum certied power level and in all the frequency
bands of the mobile device.
