Filling the coffee bean container
24
Coffee or espresso can be made from
whole roasted coffee beans which are
freshly ground for each cup. This
requires the coffee bean container to be
filled with coffee beans.
Alternatively, you can make coffee
drinks with ready ground coffee.
Risk of damage to the grinder
due to incorrect operation.
The coffee machine will be damaged
if the bean container is filled with
unsuitable substances such as
liquids, ground coffee, or coffee
beans treated with sugar, caramel, or
similar.
In addition, green (unroasted) coffee
beans or mixtures of coffee beans
which contain green coffee beans
can damage the grinder. Green
coffee beans are very hard and still
contain residual moisture. These can
damage the coffee machine grinder
as soon as grinding begins.
Only put roasted coffee beans in the
bean container.
Tip: You can use a nut or seed grinder
to grind green coffee beans. These
grinders generally have a rotating
stainless steel blade. You can then add
the ground green coffee one portion at
a time to the ground coffee chute and
make the desired coffee drink.
Take the lid off the coffee bean
container.
Fill the bean container with roasted
coffee beans.
Replace the lid.
