4.2 Capsule Cage Replacement
After approximately 15,000 coffees have been served, the capsule cage in
the brew unit must be replaced (see the operating instructions).
1. Access the programming mode as outlined in Section 060-4.1.1 or 060-4.1.2.
2. Turn the right switch knob or press the < or > touchpads until
MAINTENANCE is displayed.
3. Press the right switch knob or the OK touchpad.
4. Turn the right switch knob or press the < or > touchpads until Carry out is
displayed.
5. Press the right switch knob or the OK touchpad to carry out the service task.
6. The brew unit transports the capsule cage downwards.
7. Open the door.
8. Remove the capsule plate.
9. Remove the seal downwards.
10. Unscrew the capsule cage using the service tool.
11. Install a new capsule cage using the service tool.
12. Install the seal from underneath.
13. Slide in the capsule plate.
14. Close the door. The brew unit will move the capsule cage upwards. The
appliance can be operated again normally.
