Turn the right hand control until "Settings" is highlighted.

Press the right hand control.

^ Turn the right hand control until "Amount of coffee" is
highlighted and then press the control.
You can set different amounts of coffee beans to be ground
for espresso, coffee and cappuccino, according to taste.
^ To do this, turn the right hand control until the type of drink
for which you want to set the amount of coffee is
highlighted.

Then press the right hand control.
^
Turn the right hand control clockwise or anti-clockwise to
set the amount of coffee higher or lower.
^
Then press the right hand control to save the setting for this
User profile in memory.
Pre-brewing
You can programme the machine to pre-brew for a standard
length of time, a longer time or you can switch off the
pre-brewing function. The machine is delivered with
Pre-brewing set at Off (= Without).
When the pre-brewing function is switched on, the freshly
ground coffee is first moistened with a little hot water. Then
the remaining water is forced through the moistened coffee at
high pressure.
