If your Miele Coffee Maker displays error F73 or the message 'Check the brew unit', it indicates that the brew unit cannot be positioned correctly or is dirty, preventing coffee processing. Here's what you can do: 1. If possible, remove the brew unit and clean it. 2. Ensure the coffee ejector of the brew unit is in the correct position. 3. Reinsert the waste and water containers. 4. Without the brew unit, close the door and switch the machine on. This will initialize the brew unit motor. 5. When 'Insert the brew unit' appears, open the door, refit all parts, and close the door. If the brew unit cannot be removed, switch the machine off and wait approximately 2 minutes before switching it back on.
