Miele DA 3490 - Automatic Switch-off

Automatic switch-off of the Intensive
setting
You can set the Intensive setting so that
it always only runs for 10 minutes before
reverting automatically to setting 3.
^
To set this option, both the fan and
the cooktop lighting must be
switched off and the deflector plate
pushed in.
^
Press the – and + touch controls at
the same time for approx. 10
seconds until the power level
indicator light 1 lights up in the
display.
^ Then press in turn,
– the cooktop lighting touch control I,
– then the – touch control, and
– the cooktop lighting touch control I
again.
If Automatic switch-off is not activated,
the 1 and IS indicator lights will flash.
^
Press the + touch control to activate
the Automatic switch-off.
The indicator lights for fan power
levels 1 and IS will now light up
constantly.
Press the – control to deactivate the
Automatic switch-off function.
^
Press the On/Off control K to
confirm.
^
If you do not confirm your selection
within 4 minutes, the rangehood will
automatically revert to the original
setting.
Safety switch-off
If the rangehood hasn't been operated
for 10 hours, the fan will switch off
automatically. The lighting will remain
switched on.
^
Pressing the On/Off K touch control
will switch the fan back on again.
