When fitting for the first time:

Activate the operating hours counter
(see "Operation").
Always replace the charcoal filter im
-
mediately if
–
the indicator lamp for the charcoal
filter lights up,
or
– if it is no longer effective in absorbing
kitchen odours.
It should, however, be replaced at least
every 6 months.
Used charcoal filters can be disposed
of with the normal household waste.
^ After fitting the new charcoal filter,
press the charcoal filter touch control
for approximately 3 seconds to reset
the operating hours counter.
The charcoal filter indicator lamp will
go out.
^
If the charcoal filter is replaced
before the operating hours counter
has reached its maximum, the
charcoal filter touch control should
be pressed for approximately
6 seconds to reset the counter.
