Preparing the electrical connection

Remove the cover of the terminal
box.
^ Decide whether you would like the
power cable to enter the ventilation
system from below or from the rear.
Remove the respective knock-out.
^
If the system is connected to an
external blower, remove the
knock-out for the control cable.
^
Install a suitable UL listed cable
clamp or conduit fitting (not included)
in the knock-out.
^
With the assistance of at least one
other person, lift the ventilation
system into the prepared cutout. The
top mounting angles should rest on
the countertop.
^ Align the ventilation system.
^
Secure the appliance to the floor and
the countertop.
^
Remove the protective plastic from
the side cover.
^
Push the side covers in place on the
mounting brackets and engage them.
