Warning!
To prevent leakage problems, pay attention to the following during reassembly:
1. Check that the sealing ring is seated correctly in the pump housing cap.
2. When installing the pump housing cap, ensure that it is correctly seated. Line
up the groove on the cap with the notch on the housing (if applicable).
3. Press the fastening clips over the retaining lugs using suitable pliers.
4. Tighten the pump housing cap retaining screws.
4.15 Slide Shutter Removal (Excella/LaPerla)
1. Circulation pump removal (Section 050-4.13).
2. Heater pressure switch removal (Section 050-4.20).
3. Pump housing cap removal (Section 050-4.14).
4. Turn the drive cog wheel to bring the double tooth to the desired position
as follows: Insert a small screwdriver in one of the holes on the cam
(linked to the slide shutter control motor). Turn the cam until the slide
shutter can be removed.
5. Remove the slide shutter.
Note:
The slide shutter can only be removed or installed when the drive cog wheel is
turned with the double tooth in the position shown in Figure 050-22.

Warning!
Before re-installing the slide shutter in the pump housing, make sure that the
double tooth on the drive cog wheel points to the arrow on the housing.
4.16 Drive Removal (Excella/LaPerla)
1. Circulation pump removal (Section 050-4.13).
