Problem Possible cause Remedy
Knocking noise in the
water pipes
This may be caused by
the on-site installation or
the cross-section of the
piping.
This has no influence on
dishwasher function. If in
doubt contact a suitably
qualified plumber.
Three horizontal bars
show in the time dis-
play at the end of the
programme:
– – –
There may be a technical
fault.
– Turn the programme
selector to the “Stop”
position.
– Switch the dishwasher
off using the “On/Off”
button.
After a few seconds:
– Turn the dishwasher on
using the “On/Off”
button.
– Turn the Programme
selector to the required
programme.
– Press the “Start” button.
If the three horizontal
bars appear again at the
end of the programme,
there is a technical fault.
– Call the Miele Service
Department.
Despite the problem the
dishwasher can be used
in all programmes.
However the water will
not heat up. The “Energy
Save” programme only
works if the dishwasher is
connected to a hot water
supply.
