Safety with children
~
Children under 8 years of age must be kept away from the
vacuum cleaner and the Electrobrush unless they are constantly
supervised.
~
Children aged eight years and older may only use the vacuum
cleaner and the Electrobrush if they have been shown how to use
them in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
~
Children may only carry out cleaning and maintenance of the
vacuum cleaner and the Electrobrush under adult supervision.
~
This appliance is not a toy! To prevent the risk of injury, do not let
children play with the vacuum cleaner, with the Electrobrush or their
controls.
Technical safety
~
Before using the Electrobrush for the first time, ensure that the
connection data on the vacuum cleaner's data plate (voltage and
frequency) match the mains electricity supply exactly.
~
Check the Electrobrush, electro-suction hose and
electro-telescopic tube for any visible signs of damage before use.
Do not use if damaged.
~
While under guarantee, repairs should only be undertaken to the
Electrobrush, the electro-suction hose and the electro-telescopic
tube by a service technician authorised by Miele. Otherwise the
guarantee will be invalidated.
~
Do not let the vacuum cleaner or the Electrobrush get wet. Clean
only with a dry cloth or slightly damp cloth when disconnected from
the mains supply.
