Is the dryer switched
on?

inserted into the socket
and switched on?

breaker tripped?
The interior drum
lighting does not come
on.
The lighting switches off
automatically (to save
energy).
Switch the dryer off and
then on again.
The lamp needs
changing.
Change the lamp as
described at the end of
this section.
The display is in a
different language.
A different language has
been selected.
Set the language you
want. The flag symbol J
will guide you. See
Language J at the end of
this booklet.
The Start/Stop button
indicator light flashes
when a programme is
being selected.
This is not a fault.
The flashing indicates
that a programme can be
started.
After the programme has
started, the flashing will
change to a constant
light.
The display is dark.
The programme selector
is not lit up.
The Start/Stop button
indicator light flashes
slowly.
The display and
programme selector
lighting have switched off
automatically to save
energy (Standby mode).
The display and the
programme selector will
light up when one of the
buttons is pressed.
If the problem persists,
there is a fault.
