Why is the Check drain light flashing on my Miele W 3240 Washer?

  If the Check drain light flashes and "– – –" appears in the display of your Miele Washer, it could be due to a blocked water outlet or the drain hose being fixed too high. Clean the drain filter and the drain pump as described in "Problem solving guide - Opening the drum door in the event of a blocked drain outlet and/or power failure". Also, ensure that the drain hose does not exceed the maximum delivery head of 1 m.
