Tighten the drain filter back up again
if you need to interrupt the flow of
water.
Once the flow of water ceases:
Remove the drain filter completely.
Clean it thoroughly.
Remove any foreign objects (e.g. but‐
tons, coins, etc.) and fluff from the fil‐
ter housing. Turn the impeller by hand
to check that it rotates freely.
Put the drain filter back in place and
secure it.
Make sure the drain filter is se‐
curely tightened. Otherwise there is a
risk of water leakage during use.
To avoid loss of detergent, pour approx.
2 litres of water into the detergent dis‐
penser drawer after cleaning the drain
filter. Excess water will be pumped out
automatically before the next wash pro‐
gramme.
Opening the door
Always make sure that the drum
is stationary before reaching in to re‐
move laundry. Reaching into a mov‐
ing drum is extremely dangerous.
Pull the emergency release down‐
wards. The door will open.
