Safety Instructions
Please carefully read the instructions before using your appliance for the first
time. Any use that does not conform to the following instructions does not hold
accountable and cancels your product’s warranty.
Read all the instructions carefully when using
your appliance and keep them in a safe
place.
Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used by or near children.
Before connecting the coffee maker, check
that the voltage indicated on the appliance
corresponds to the voltage in your home.
If this is not the case, contact your nearest
authorized service center and do
not use the appliance.
Switch off and unplug the coffee maker from
the wall socket before filling, emptying or
cleaning, or when not in use.
Do not operate or place any part of this
appliance on or near any hot surfaces (such
as gas or electric burner or in a heated oven).
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a
table or counter. Do not let the cord touch hot
surfaces.
Never pull on the cord as this may damage
the cord and eventually cause a risk of
electric shock.
If the power cord of this appliance is
damaged, it must be replaced by an
authorized service center only.
Avoid touching the hot surfaces of the
appliance, use the handle and the knob
instead.
Extreme caution must be given when moving
the appliance if the coffee pot contains hot
coffee. Always lift the coffee pot from its
handle.
This appliance is intended to be used in
household and similar applications such as:
- Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and
other working environments
- Farm houses
- Clients in hotels, motels and other residential
type of environments
- Bed and breakfast type of environments
To avoid electric hazards, do not immerse this
appliance, the power base or the power cord
in any liquid.
Use the coffee pot only with the supplied
base unit. Do not use the base unit for other
purposes.
To avoid the risk of fire, do not operate in
the presence of explosive and/or flammable
fumes.
Do not use the coffee maker for any purpose
other than making turkish coffee. Other liquids
will contaminate the interior.
This product has not been designed for
any other uses than those specified in this
booklet.
Ensure that the appliance is switched off
before removing the coffee pot.
Ensure that the coffee maker is always
operated on a flat surface.
The coffee maker and its parts must not be
operated with other coffee makers.
Never place the base on a hot surface or a
metal tray.
Keep children well away, ensure that users
are fully aware of the danger of escaping hot
steam and splashing boiling water.
The coffee maker shall not be placed in a
cabinet when in use.
Misuse may cause injury.
This appliance can be used by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, if they have been given
supervision or instructions concerning
the usage of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of
children’s reach.
