The crash pad can be muted with the hand just like an analog cymbal (choke func‐
tion).
The snare pad has two triggers: the center trigger produces the typical snare sound,
while the rim trigger produces rim shots.
The bass drum pad has only one trigger and must be hit in the center to produce a
sound.
n You produce a closed hi-hat sound by keeping the hi-hat pedal depressed while
hitting the hi-hat
n You produce an open hi-hat sound by not pressing the hi-hat pedal while hitting
the hi-hat
n An open hi-hat sound changes smoothly to a closed hi-hat sound when you start
pressing the hi-hat pedal while hitting the hi-hat.
