The calibration procedure is completed
when the Check Control message disap-
pears.
If the message continues to be displayed,
repeat the calibration.
If the message does not disappear after a re-
peat calibration, have the system checked
as soon as possible.
Rollover protection system
Principle
The rollover protection system is automati-
cally activated in the event of a sufficiently
serious accident or if the longitudinal axis
is tilted excessively. The safety bars located
behind the rear head restraints extend
within fractions of a second.
Supplementing the reinforced windshield
frame, the rollover protection system fur-
ther increases passenger safety.
General information
Do not place any objects on the covers of
the rollover protection system.

rollover protection system is triggered.
There is a risk of injury or risk of damage
to property. Make sure that the area of
movement of the rollover protection sys-
tem is clear.

Improperly executed work can lead to fail-
ure, malfunction or unintentional trigger-
ing of the system. In the case of a malfunc-
tion, the system might not trigger as
intended even if there is an accident se-
vere enough to warrant it. There is a risk
of injury or danger to life. Have the system
checked, repaired, disassembled and scrap-
ped by a dealer’s service center or another
qualified service center or repair shop.

After triggering or damage, system func-
tionality is limited or not available any-
more. There is a risk of injury or danger to
life.

fied service center or repair shop in the
event of triggering of or damage to the
system.

With an extended rollover protection sys-
tem, the area of movement of the
convertible top is limited. There is a risk
of injury or risk of damage to property.
When the rollover protection system is ex-
tended, do not move the convertible top.
