DATA IMPRINTING
Press
MODE button
to select
date
or time' imprinting. To
switch time
display
from either
12-hour
or 24-hour
format,
first
press
MODE
button to display time.
Then hold down
ADJUST button
for
about three seconds
until display is
changed.
Approximate
location
and
size
of
imprinted
data
(10
9'88)
is
shown in
the
photo.
o
When date
is
displayed,
you
can display
button.
o
lmprinted
numbers
may
be difficult
to
uniform.
o
For
data
imprinting with DB-7,
ISO
32 to 400
film
should be
used; with
DB-3,
ISO
32 to 1600 film may
be
used.
For
polaroid,
infrared,
and
high-contrast
copy
films
and others
rated outside
this ISO range,
imprinting
exposure
may not
be
correct. When
using
these types of
f
ilms,
data
imprinting
should
be
cancelled.

Legibility
may
vary
somewhat
with
film
type.
BATTERY
REPLACEMENT
The
battery should be replaced
when data
is
no longer
printed
clearly
on the
film
or if the
LCD
display
begins
blinking. To replace
battery,
open camera's
back
cover and
proceed
as
follows:
1. Open battery
cover:
DB-7:
Use
coin to
pry
up edge
of battery cover
(dia.
A).
DB-3:
Slide
cover
to
right
and
left,
lift up,
and
remove
(dia.
B).
2.
Remove
battery
and
insert new one. Make
sure
battery's
plus
(+)
side
is
facing
up.
3. Replace battery cover:
DB-7:
Reposition cover
and
press
it
down
until
it snaps
into
place;
make
sure the
cover's
tabs are
fully
seated
in
grooves
to
prevent
scratching
of the
film
(dia.
C).
DB-3: Insert
tabs on cover under
edge of battery
chamber,
then
press
down
and
slide
it
to left
(dia.
D).
4.
Press
SELECT
button
to cfear
data
back's internal memory.
lf
the battery is installed
incorrectly
or
is
completely exhausted,
no display will
appear.
Reinsert battery
and
check
again.
lf display
still
does
not
appear, insert a
fresh
battery.
time temporarily
by
pressing
ADJUST
read
if
area is bright, orange,
or
not
