Overview

The DTX-1 Oxidizing Food Detoxifier is a portable device designed for the disinfection of microorganisms in water and the antibacterial cleaning of food and household items. Its operating principle relies on ultrasonic waves to remove various contaminants, followed by their splitting and dissolution in water. This device is suitable for washing meat, fruit, and vegetables.

Function Description

The DTX-1 operates in two primary modes: Automatic and Manual.

Automatic Mode:

This mode offers four pre-set processing programs tailored for different types of items:

  • Raw Food Treatment: This program is designed for treating raw foods and further branches into specific categories such as Vegetables, Fruits, Berries, Greens, Mushrooms, Meat, Fish, Seafood, and Groats. Users select the appropriate food type from a list, and the device applies a pre-defined treatment.
  • Heat Treatment: This program is intended for processing raw foods before thermal treatment methods like boiling, baking, or frying.
  • Antiparasitic Treatment: A dedicated program for antiparasitic treatment of food items.
  • Other: This program is for treating various household items, including jewelry, keys, and children's toys.

Manual Mode:

In Manual Mode, users have greater control over the treatment process. They can adjust the intensity and duration of exposure to active oxygen and ultrasonic waves independently. This allows for customized treatment based on the specific needs of the items being cleaned. The intensity of active oxygen is set as a percentage, and the duration for both active oxygen and ultrasonic waves is set in minutes.

General Operation:

To turn on the device, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. The indicator will turn green, and the main menu will appear on the display. From the main menu, users can select either Automatic or Manual operating mode.

Once a program or manual settings are selected, the device must be submerged in water containing the items to be treated. It is crucial to ensure that the water level does not exceed the "MAX" mark indicated on the device body. If the water level is too high, some water should be drained. The treatment process should not be initiated if the device is not properly submerged in water.

After submerging the device and confirming the settings, press the START button. The indicator will turn red, and the display will show the cleaning treatment in progress along with the remaining time. Upon completion, the indicator will turn green, and "FINISH" will appear on the display. After cleaning, the device should be put aside, the water drained, and the cleaned items rinsed.

Settings:

The device includes a "Settings" section where users can customize various options:

  • Changing Theme: Users can switch between different display themes.
  • Changing Language: The device supports multiple languages, including English, Russian, Spanish, French, German, and Polish.
  • Active Oxygen Shutdown Function: This feature allows users to disable active oxygen treatment, performing cleaning solely with ultrasound. The status of this parameter (on/off) is indicated in the upper right corner of the screen.

Usage Features

  • Placement: The device should always be placed on a flat surface to prevent shaking and accidental drops, which could damage its working parts.
  • Water Level: Adhering to the maximum permissible water level (indicated by the "MAX" mark) is critical to prevent damage to the device.
  • Submersion: The device must be properly submerged in water before starting any treatment. Failure to do so can compromise safety and prevent the treatment process from initiating.
  • Power Supply: Connect the device only to a power supply with a voltage that matches the specifications indicated on its marking.
  • Environmental Considerations: Avoid using the device in rooms with aggressive or explosive chemical mixtures. Direct moisture on the USB Type C power connector should be avoided whenever possible.

Maintenance Features

The DTX-1 is designed for minimal maintenance.

  • Cleaning the Base: If the base of the working part becomes contaminated, it can be easily removed and washed under running water or in a dishwasher.
  • Storage and Transportation:
    • For transportation and storage, the device should be kept within temperatures ranging from -60°C to 45°C, with relative humidity not exceeding 95%.
    • The packaging should be protected from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Service Life: The estimated service life of the device is 5 years, subject to proper operating conditions.

Safety Precautions:

  • Always read the user manual thoroughly before operating the appliance.
  • Use the device strictly for its intended purpose as outlined in the manual.
  • Do not submerge the device in water below the permissible level.
  • Non-compliance with recommended operating procedures can compromise safety.

Warranty:

The device comes with a 12-month warranty from the date of sale through a retail network. If a retail mark is absent, the warranty period begins from the date of manufacture. Rechargeable batteries are considered consumable items and are not covered under warranty. Warranty repairs are handled by the manufacturer. Claims for damage not resulting from natural wear are not accepted. The warranty is void if the device is operated in violation of safety guidelines.

Disposal:

The device and/or its battery should not be disposed of with household waste. It must be disposed of in accordance with local laws and regulations.
