Usage Features
Control Panel and Operation:
The control panel features buttons for KEEP WARM/CANCEL, PRESET TIMER, HOUR, MIN, STICKY/SUSHI, MENU, START, and FAST COOK.
- MENU Button: Used to select desired cooking modes. The corresponding indicator light flashes.
- PRESET TIMER: Allows setting a delayed cooking start time. The HOUR and MIN buttons adjust the preset time in 1-hour and 10-minute increments, respectively.
- START Button: Initiates the cooking process after a menu item is selected.
- KEEP WARM/CANCEL Button: Can be pressed at any time during cooking to cancel the operation. After cooking, it automatically activates the KEEP WARM mode, which can be manually activated or deactivated.
Cooking Modes:
- Crispy Rice, White Rice, Brown Rice: Press the MENU button repeatedly to select the desired rice type. The START button begins cooking. The LCD display shows a flashing indicator and then the cooking progress.
- Soup: Default cooking time is 1 hour. Time can be adjusted from 30 minutes to 4 hours in 1-hour increments using the HOUR/MIN buttons.
- Porridge: Default cooking time is 1 hour. Time can be adjusted from 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes in 15-minute increments.
- Sticky/Sushi: Default cooking time is 5 minutes.
- Steam: Default steaming time is 5 minutes. Time can be adjusted from 5 minutes to 1 hour in 1-minute increments. A steam rack is provided for steaming food. It's important to ensure sufficient water in the cooking pot for steaming.
- Fast Cook: Designed for quicker rice cooking.
- Cake: Default cooking time is 50 minutes. Users can prepare a suitable recipe, grease the cooking pot, add ingredients, and then select the CAKE menu and press START. The cake can be checked midway through the process.
- Reheat: For warming up leftovers. Add enough water to moisten the rice and ensure sufficient steam.
Preparation before Cooking:
- Ensure the inner lid and steam vent are correctly installed.
- Clean the cooking pot and accessories.
- Measure and rinse rice in a separate bowl until the water runs clear.
- Place the washed rice into the cooking pot and fill with water according to the corresponding water level markings inside the pot. The water quantity can be increased or decreased reasonably based on personal preference.
- Wipe clean the external surface of the cooking pot and the internal wall of the appliance.
- Press down the Outer Lid until a click sound (lid lock) is heard.
- Connect the appliance electrical cord to a domestic power outlet and then switch ON the power outlet.

Cleaning and Maintenance:
Regular cleaning is essential for maintaining the appliance's performance and longevity.
- Before cleaning: Ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cooled.
- Inner Lid and Steam Vent: Open the lid, hold the inner lid handles with both hands, pull it towards outside to disassemble the inner lid. Pull the sealing ring to disassemble the lid. Wash the inner lid and sealing ring with clean water, then wipe them with soft cloth. A little tableware detergent can be used.
- Cooking Pot: Wash the cooking pot with soft sponges, then wipe with dry and soft cloth. To avoid deformation, please handle with care when removing or replacing the cooking pot, do not wipe it with steel wool or hard abrasive sponges.
- External Surfaces: Wipe the control panel, lid, and exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh objects.
- Internal and External of the Appliance: Clean with a soft brush or hard object (such as banana oil, petrol, cleaning powder and hard brush).
- Steam Vent: Clean the steam vent to prevent blockages.
- Reassembly: Insert the lock part of the inner lid into the square groove on the lid, push inner lid toward the lid; the assembling is finished when you hear a popping sound. Ensure the detachable inner lid and steam vent are properly reassembled after cleaning.

- Indicator light not turning on: Power is off, circuit failure, fuse.
- Heating element not heating: Circuit failure, heating element problem.
