Why does my Mitsubishi Electric PAC-IF032B-E Temperature Controller FTC2B switch to DHW mode after a power failure?

If your Mitsubishi Electric Temperature Controller's FTC2B switches to DHW mode after a power failure, even if it was running in heating mode before, this is normal operation. The FTC2B is designed to run in an operation mode with a higher priority (i.e., DHW mode) at power recovery. After the DHW max operation time has elapsed or the DHW max temperature has been reached, the DHW mode will switch to the other mode (e.g., heating mode).
