(4) Measure the backlash between the side gear an d pinion.
Standard value:
0.025-0.150 mm
(5) If t he backlash is out of specification, select a spacer
and re-measure th e backlash.
NOTE
Adjust until the backlashes on both sides are equal.

DIFFERENTIAL DRIVE GEAR INSTALLATION
(1) Apply a sealant to the entire threaded portion of the bolt.
Specified sealant:
3M STUD Locking No. 4170 or equivalent
