9-4 Heating and air conditioning
• Air selector switch
Pressing the air selector switch allows you to toggle
the setting between recirculation of inside air and
introduction of outside air. When recirculation is
selected, the indicator lamp in the switch comes
on.
• Outside air
Outside air is allowed to enter the cab. Use this
setting under normal conditions.
• Recirculation
Air recirculation in the cab. Use this setting
when you want to heat the cab quickly or the
outside air is dusty or polluted.
If the air selector switch is left too long in the
recirculation position, the windshield and win-
dows will fog up, so set the switch to the outside
air position during normal driving. You can also
select the recirculation position when parking to
stop dust from getting inside the cab.
2Heating
•
Warm air is directed to your feet.
• If you want to heat the cab quickly or if the air
outside is dusty or polluted, press the air selec-
tor switch to ON (the indicator comes on).
• If the windows fog up, place mode selector dial
in the position.
