If vehicle will not start
• 12V Auxillary battery is flat?
If battery is low, i-MiEV can be started using jumper cables
Usual jumper lead precautions must be observed
• Keyless Function is not operative?
Power unit can be started using emergency key
• Cannot turn power switch from “OFF” position?
Check location of keyless transponder
Check selector lever is in “P” position
Check foot is on park brake.
Check steering lock by gently moving steering wheel from side to side
