Instructions for use
1 Fill evacuator with as much transmission
fluid as required to fill or top-off trans-
mission by removing plug from pour
spout in reservoir lid and pouring fluid in,
or by using evacuation procedure.
2 Install and lock plug in evacuator pour
spout, and shift valve on side of evacua-
tor to Dispense position.
3 Insert transmission refill assembly tube
into 10 mm x 90° pressure/vacuum port
located on top of fluid evacuator. Push
tube into connector until it is firmly
seated and secured by locking sleeve.
4 Select appropriate transmission refill
adapter for model of vehicle.
5 If refill adapter does not require installa-
tion onto transmission, connect it to
female quick-change coupler at end of
transmission refill tube.
6 If refill adapter requires installation onto
transmission, follow vehicle manufactur-
er’s procedure.
7 Connect transmission refill tube using
female quick-change coupler.
8 Open shut-off valve on transmission
refill assembly.
9 Pump evacuator to build pressure and
start flow of fluid to transmission.
10 Follow vehicle manufacturer’s recom-
mended procedure to fill or top-off
transmission to correct level.
11 Close shut-off valve.
NOTE
Refer to vehicle manufacturer’s specifi-
cation for transmission fluid to use.
NOTE
A shut-off valve in female quick-change
coupler prevents fluid from leaking out
of refill tube when disconnected.
12 Disconnect refill tube from adapter by
pulling back on sleeve of female
quick-connect coupler.
13 Remove refill adapter from transmission,
and replace all plugs or caps.
14 Empty and clean evacuator.
15 Refill assembly if necessary and/or store
appropriately for future use.
