What to do if µ-Dimension Car Stereo System has no output?
    • P
      pamelarobinsonAug 5, 2025
If your µ-Dimension Car Stereo System has no output, first, confirm that all terminal strip connections are firmly connected. Then, check in-line and built-in fuses, ensuring both “+12V” and “RMT” terminals have +12 Volts to chassis ground. Also, confirm that the signal source (Car Radio/Deck, EQ, X-over etc.) is connected and supplying an output signal. To check the amplifier, connect an RCA patch cord to the LEFT & RIGHT low-level inputs of the amplifier only, and briefly tap the center pin of each disconnected RCA plug on the other end with your finger. This should produce a noise (feedback) in the speakers if the amplifier is working.

Why does my µ-Dimension COMPETITION ProZ4-80 Car Stereo System only have one channel working?

If only one channel of your µ-Dimension Car Stereo System is working, check that the speaker terminal strip connections are firmly connected. Also, verify that the “BALANCE” control on the car stereo (or signal source) is at the mid-point. If using RCA low-level inputs, reverse the input plugs at the amplifier (right to left or vice versa). If the silent channel reverses position, the problem is in the car stereo (EQ, X-over, or other signal source) or connecting cable.
