5. Make The Model Ready For Use
A) Commissioning the transmitter: controls and functions of the transmitter
Steering wheel for steering function
Depending on the direction of rotation of the steering wheel, the servo arm of the connected steering servo moves to the right or left. About
the appropriate linkages so the wheels are taken to the right or left.
Control lever for driving function
Hold the transmitter in your hand and use your forenger to pull the throttle towards you, the car will move forward. Push the throttle forward,
the car brakes and then moves backwards (at 2nd press).
The control LED indicates the switch-on status of the transmitter.
The transmitter is switched on or o with the on / o switch.
Trimming steering (ST TRIM)
If your model does not go straight in the neutral position, use the trim to set the directional stability.
Trim gas (TH D / R)
If your model begins to drive independently in the neutral position, use the trim to set the neutral point.
B ) Comissioning the model
The model is already ready to drive and can be put into operation directly after charging the transmitter batteries and the driving battery.
Nevertheless, please check all screws etc. for a rm t. Carry out a functional check before every ride. The drive and control components are
mounted and wired, the binding between transmitter and receiver takes place automatically, each time it is switched on.
If the binding between sender and model does not take place, you have to do it manually. To do this, unscrew the upper deck so that the
receiver is exposed. Press the receiver‘s binding button, turning on the power to the controller. Now switch on the remote control and press
the steering wheel (keep the binding button pressed during the entire process). Binding is now complete.
The drive battery has to be inserted at the bottom of the model. To do this, remove the screw of the battery compartment cover and remove
it. The compartment can now be opened and the battery inserted. Close the compartment again. After driving, the battery should always be
removed from the model!
C) Charging the battery
• ALWAYS charge the battery outside of the model to avoid overheating while charging, always use a reproof pad!
• The charge connection cable of the drive battery is equipped with a reverse polarity protected plug system.
• Never disconnect the plug connection by pulling on the cables, always pull on the plug.
• Never charge the battery unattended!
• Plug the charger into the power supply.
• The LED on the charging indicator light turns green.
• Now connect the battery to the charger.
• The LED now lights red, the battery is charging.
• When the LED starts to glow green, the battery is fully charged.
• Disconnect the battery from the charger.
• Disconnect the charger from the power supply.
• Maximum charging time 3-5 hours.
• Never charge unattended (eg „overnight“)!
CAUTION!
Before the battery can be used again after charging it must be completely cooled.
Insert the charged driving battery into the model:
• Loosen the sapwood pin and open it.
• Place the battery pack on the battery holder. For the tight t of the battery, you may need to put some sponge rubber in the battery tray.
• Close the battery compartment again, make sure that no cables are pinched and secure it with the cotter pin.
• If the model is not used, always unplug the battery and remove it from the model!
• Use only suitable batteries!
