4. Getting Started
Preparations
When you start your rst ride, be sure to wear comfortable clothing (sportswear) and at shoes. We also strongly recommend wearing protec-
tive clothing such as helmets and knee protectors. It is best to practice in a protected place without trac.
To be able to drive the wheelboard, you must have a minimum weight of 20 kg. If the driver is too light, the wheelboard shakes until the driver
is shaken. This is for the safety of your children. Do not exceed the maximum weight of 100 kg.
Charge the battery and display the charge level
Use only the power supply supplied by the manufacturer to charge your MODSTER M250. Charge the battery fully the rst time.
The charging procedure is described below:
1. Connect the charger to an electrical outlet.
2. Now connect the MODSTER M250 to the charger. You will notice that the charger and the wheelboard are connected correctly when the
light on the power supply is red (may take a few seconds). Charge the battery fully the rst time. This can take up to 2 hours.
3. As soon as the MODSTER M250 is fully charged, the indicator on the charger changes to green.
To view the current state of charge, you must turn on the wheelboard. The same applies to the charging state during the charging process.
In the non-connected state, green light means sucient power, while red light indicates low battery condition. In this case, nish your trip
as soon as possible. The battery must be checked before each trip. When the charge level falls below 15%, the LED indicator ashes and the
buzzer vibrates.
On cold days, especially in winter, the performance time of the battery decreases. At -15 °, for example, the battery is only half as long as at
room temperature.
! WARNING: If the battery is dangerously low, the wheelboard will send an alarm by starting to vibrate while driving. Then you have to stop imme-
diately. Turn the unit o and do not try to drive until the wheelboard has recharged.
