ELA-Wand- und Decken-
lautsprecher

gründlich durch und heben Sie sie für ein späteres
Nachlesen auf.
1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Diese Wand- und Deckenlautsprecher für die Unter-
putzmontage sind speziell für den Einsatz in Beschal-
lungsanlagen konzipiert, die mit 100-V-Technik arbeiten.
Zum Lieferumfang gehört eine Kunststoff-Unterputz-
schale.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen erforderlichen Richt-
linien der EU und ist deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.

Der Lautsprecher ist nur zur Verwendung im Innen-
bereich geeignet. Schützen Sie ihn vor Tropf- und
Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zu -
lässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).

Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, nie Fall Wasser oder Chemikalien.

Wird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht fach-
gerecht montiert, falsch angeschlossen oder über-
lastet, kann keine Haftung für daraus resultierende
Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Garantie
für den Lautsprecher übernommen werden.
3 Installation
1) In die Kunststoff-Unterputzschale an geeigneter
Stelle ein Loch für die Kabeldurchführung bohren
und die Kunststoff-Unterputzschale in einen ent-
sprechend großen Wand- oder Deckenausschnitt
einputzen (siehe technische Daten).
2) Die Schraube am Schutzgitter lösen und den Laut-
sprecher aus dem weißen Montagerahmen entfer-

Die Installation darf nur durch Fachper-
sonal erfolgen.
Achten Sie auf die Belastung des ELA-Verstärkers
durch die Lautsprecher. Eine Überlastung kann den
Verstärker beschädigen! Die Summe der Leistungen
aller angeschlossenen Lautsprecher darf die Verstär-
kerleistung nicht überschreiten.
Soll der Lautsprecher endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben Sie
ihn zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem
örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.

vier mitgelieferten Schrauben an der Kunststoff-
Unterputzschale festschrauben.
3) Vor dem Anschluss des Lautsprechers die ELA-
Anlage komplett ausschalten, damit die 100-V-
Audio leitung vom ELA-Verstärker spannungsfrei ist!
4) Die Leitung des Lautsprechers an die 100-V-Audio-
leitung vom ELA-Verstärker anschließen: Die
weiße Ader und eine der anderen farbigen Adern,
die der gewünschten Nennbelastung (Lautstärke)
entspricht, mit der 100-V-Audioleitung verbinden.
5) Den angeschlossenen Lautsprecher in den Monta-
gerahmen einsetzen und festschrauben.
6) Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern dar-
auf achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich gepolt
werden.

PA Wall and Ceiling Speakers
Please read these operating instructions carefully
prior to the installation and keep them for later refer-
ence.
1 Applications
These wall and ceiling speakers for flush mounting are
especially designed for applications in PA systems
operating with 100 V technique. A plastic flush-mount
shell is supplied as well.
2 Important Notes
The speaker corresponds to all required directives of
the EU and is therefore marked with .

The speaker is suitable for indoor use only. Protect
it against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range 0 – 40 °C).

For cleaning only use a soft, dry cloth, never use
water or chemicals.
G
No guarantee claims for the speaker and no liability
for any resulting personal damage or material dam-
age will be accepted if the speaker is used for other
purposes than originally intended, if it is not correctly
installed or connected, or if it is overloaded.
3 Installation
1) Drill a hole for the cable guidance at a suitable
place of the plastic flush-mount shell and mount the
shell in a flush way into a wall or ceiling cutout of
corresponding size (see specifications).
2) Release the screw at the protective grille and
remove the speaker from the white mounting
frame. Then tightly screw the mounting frame to the
plastic flush-mount shell with the four supplied
screws.
WARNING During operation, there is a hazard of
contact with a voltage of up to 100 V at
the connection cable.
The installation must be carried out by
skilled personnel only.
Observe the load of the PA amplifier by the speakers.
An overload may damage the amplifier! The total
power of all speakers connected must not exceed the
amplifier power.
If the speaker is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling plant for
a disposal which is not harmful to the envi-
ronment.
3) Prior to the connection of the speaker switch off the
PA system completely, so that the 100 V audio
cable from the PA amplifier will not carry any volt-
age!
4) Connect the speaker cable to the 100 V audio cable
of the PA amplifier: Connect the white conductor
and one of the other coloured conductors which
corresponds to the desired power rating (volume)
to the 100 V audio cable.
5) Insert the connected speaker into the mounting
frame and screw it tightly.
6) When connecting several speakers, make sure that
all speakers have the same polarity.
