  If the Monster PowerCenter isn't getting power, first, ensure the PowerCenter switch is turned on and that it's plugged into a properly grounded 120-volt outlet. Also, check if a nearby wall switch needs to be activated to power the outlet. If too many devices are connected, causing an overload, press the PowerCenter Thermal Circuit Breaker button to reset it, waiting 10 minutes before trying again. If it continues to trip, move some components to another PowerCenter, as you might be drawing too much current.

  If your component isn't receiving power, it might be plugged into a switched outlet, and the PowerCenter isn't turned on. Turn the PowerCenter on or plug the component into an unswitched outlet. Also, if the component is plugged into a switched outlet, ensure the component's power is also switched on.

  If your speakers are emitting a humming or buzzing noise, it could be due to the PowerCenter sharing AC power with improperly grounded equipment. Try connecting your PowerCenter to a dedicated outlet. You can also try unplugging components one by one from the PowerCenter to see if the noise stops. If you find an improperly grounded component, attach a copper wire from its chassis to the PowerCenter's grounding post.

  If the USB ports aren't charging connected devices, it may be due to the device's USB cable having a proprietary connector. In this case, contact the device manufacturer for a recommendation.
