amounts of peel can impart an unpleasant taste to the juice.
• It is also necessary to remove large pits (such as plum and apricot pits) to avoid
damaging the appliance. Large fruits and vegetables should be cut into pieces that
can t into the funnel.
Safety features
The appliance features 2 safety mechanisms.
• The juicer can only be switched on if the cover and the locking arm are properly
installed. If the cover or clamp is not properly installed, the safety mechanism will
stop the device.
• The juicer turns o when reaching a temperature of 110 °C. If using the juicer for
more than 3 minutes at a me, if applying too much pressure on the centrifugal
screen, or if the openings on the boom of the device are blocked, the overheat
protecon feature will be acvated.
Use
Tips: Push down the pusher slowly and with lile pressure in order to generate as
much juice as possible. Too much pressure can cause the centrifugal screen to stop
and damage the juicer. A low number of revoluons ensures a high juice quality. The
less oxygen is entrained, the more healthier is the juice. In addion, there is less heat
generaon. For this reason, we recommend using the slow course for fruits with a high
proporon of juice.
• Start the appliance by turning the on/o buon to posion “1” (low speed) or
posion “2” (high speed). The low speed seng is suitable for juicing so fruits
and vegetables. The high speed seng is suitable for juicing harder fruits and
vegetables.
• Posion “P”: rapid and momentary rotaon as pulse-funcon.
• Feed the selected fruits and/or vegetables into the appliance through the funnel a
lile at a me, pushing them down using the tamper. Make sure that you turn the
tamper so that the groove in the tamper into the funnel properly.
• Long vegetables such as carrots should be fed into the funnel pointy end rst.
• Press the fruits and/or vegetables with the pusher. Push down the pusher slowly
and with lile pressure in order to generate as much juice as possible. Too much
pressure reduces the amount of juice extracted and can damage the appliance.
• Stop the appliance before removing the tamper to add more fruit/vegetables in
order to avoid splashes.
• Keep an eye on the fruit pulp holder and stop juicing before the holder becomes too
full. Always turn o the power by turning the on/o buon to “0” posion before
taking o the lid.
