FUNCTIONS
Important: Always switch off the pump before moving the valve from one position to the next.
FILTRATION: Set the filter to “standard operation”. In this way, the water is cleaned in the circuit
with the pool. Use this position even when cleaning the base.
BACKWASH: The water flows in the opposite direction through the sand filter and is drained via
the drain connection. Min. once per week for 3–5 minutes and after each floor cleaning procedure.
NOTE: Backwash must not be activated when using filter balls!
RINSE: For performing residual cleaning and re-compacting the filter material. The water is drained
via the drain connection. Duration: approx. 30 seconds. Perform after each backwashing process.
WINTER: The valve is open to relieve the pressure on the gaskets.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Always switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug before carrying out maintenance
or inspection work.
Check all the parts for signs of wear. Do not continue to use the product if you find any defects.
Parts should only be replaced with original spare parts, and by a specialist, in accordance with the
manufacturer’s specifications. A lack of care and maintenance can damage the appliance.
Dangerous situations can arise. To ensure electrical safety, the device must not be treated with or
even immersed in liquids. Regular maintenance helps to ensure the safety of the product and
increases its service life.
Clean the pump regularly with clean water.
WINTER STORAGE AND LONGER-TERM STORAGE
Clean the kit before storage.
Store the kit in a dry and frost-proof area, out of the reach of children.
If you intend to store the pump for an extended period of time, you must clean the unit
thoroughly after the last operating session and before using it again. Otherwise, start-up
difficulties may occur due to residues or deposits.
All other work, especially opening the pump, should only be carried out by a qualified
electrician.
