9 - HEATING VENTILATION AND A/C
9.1 A/C
The Air Conditioning system on the Morgan Aero is switched on using the push switch located on the instrument
panel. In order for the AC to operate the engine must be running and the heater fan must be turned on. To have
refrigerated air supplied to the cabin turn the temperature control to the cold setting with the A/C switched on.
To supply dehumidified air to the cabin, have the temperature control turned to a warm setting with A/C
switched on. Conditioned air is supplied to the cabin via the outlets in the heater unit.
9.2 Temperature Control
To control the temperature of the air being supplied to the cabin, rotate the knob located on the instrument
panel. Turn the knob clockwise to increase the temperature of the supplied air and anti clockwise to reduce the
temperature of the supplied air.
9.3 Fan speed
A rotating knob switch located on the instrument panel controls the rate at which air is supplied to the cabin.
When in the off position the knob is rotated fully anti clockwise, to increase the flow of air, rotate the knob
clockwise to the desired flow rate.
9.4 Ventilation Distribution
The direction of air being supplied to the cabin is controlled using the vents located on the heater unit. 2 vents
are located on the front of the unit to control the air coming into the passenger area, 2 vents positioned on the
sides of the heater unit to direct air into the foot wells of the vehicle. The vents move to control the direction of
the air and can be shut off to prevent air ventilation coming into the cabin from the heater unit.
For heater controls locations see section 7.
