11.2 Hood Operation
Lowering the Hood
1. To release the hood catches, depress the safety button at the rear of the catch, whilst
pulling the main catch flap downwards.
2. Ensure that the catch is pulled back to the full extent of its travel, so that the latching
mechanism clears the receiver hook.
3. Having released both catches, from outside the car, fold the hood back. Make sure
the rear window folds evenly along its centre line.
4. Pushing upward then backwards until the hood is vertical.
