Warning
Keep all fingers clear of moving parts when removing the roof. Trapping your fingers in
the roof may cause serious injury.
Never operate the roof whilst the car is moving.
Notice
When the vehicle is new or new seals have been fitted, the latches will require more force to release. It is
advised that at each service interval, the pins and latches are lubricated to ensure smooth operation.
Notice
During cold weather, the roof not in use may contract and become difficult to fit. If left in a warm atmosphere it
will expand and may become easier to fit. Do not expose to direct heat. When the vehicle is not in use always
leave the hood in the fully erect position with the rear rail latched down. Failure to do this may result in the
hood being hard to erect or cause it to become lose during normal driving conditions.
