Place an induction compatible pan onto the
Heating Zone (1). Do not heat an empty pan as
it can damage the surface.
To increase or decrease the temperature use
the Increase (12) or Decrease (9) Buttons or
scroll your finger across the Temperature/Time
Scroll (11).
Press On/Standby Button (8) to switch the
induction hob to standby mode before
removing the pan.
BURN HAZARD: ALWAYS USE AN OVEN MITT
TO PROTECT YOUR HAND FROM CONTACT
WITH HOT SURFACES AND STEAM DURING
USE.
DO NOT USE METAL UTENSILS WITH THE
INDUCTION HOB AS THEY WILL GET HOT.
Before using, use the induction hob to boil a pan
of water 3-4 times to help burn off any
manufacturing residue from the induction hob.
During this process a slight smell and a small
amount of smoke can occur, this is normal.
In order for the induction hob to work, you will
need to use a pan that is suitable for induction
heating. (See cooking with induction on page 4).
