Text Messaging Service (TMS)
Accessing the Messaging Features
ADVANCED FEATURES
Procedure:
[Preprogrammed Button]
1. Press the preprogrammed Data Feature or the TMS
Feature button.
2. or to Inbox to view messages.
The Inbox can hold up to thirty (30) messages.
OR
or to Compose to compose a new message or to
send a quick message.
OR
or to Drafts to view/edit saved messages.
This folder stores the messages that were saved
previously.
The Drafts folder can hold up to 10 messages.
The oldest draft in the folder is deleted when the 11th
message comes in.
OR
or to Sent to view sent messages.
Once a message is sent to another radio, it is saved in the
Sent folder.
The most recent sent text message is always added to the
top of the Sent list.
The Sent folder is capable of storing a maximum of ten
(10) last sent messages.
The oldest draft in the folder is deleted when the 11th
message comes in.
3. Press the Menu Select button directly below Sel to select
the main menu options.

TMS feature screen.
