When IR lights switch ON, the camera switches to mono.
When illumination is OFF and White Light Lamps are ON, the camera switches to color.
Night Brightness
This controls the exposure compensation by artificially brightening the picture when the
camera is used to view low light areas.
Night Illumination
Choose which type of light source is required for when the camera is in dark mode.
You can set this to IR or white light if supported by the camera.
Night Intensity
This sets the lamp intensity for normal use.
Night Presets can override the intensity that has been set.
You can set Night Intensity to: 0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% or 100% (default). Night
Intensity controls both IR and White lamps.
Night Sensor
You can set this to: Mono (default) or Colour.
Night Focus Range
This sets how the camera focuses in mono to suit the light source in the scene.
Night Focus Sensitivity
When this is set to Low, the method used to focus the camera is adjusted to suit low light
conditions.
Night Aperture
You can use this to significantly increase the picture detail at night.
Range 0 (soft) to 15 (sharp). The default setting is 3.
Higher values of aperture increase picture detail.
Night Noise Reduction
You can use this to reduce picture noise for pictures which have low levels of illumination.
Reducing the noise can also reduce picture detail. You must set Night Noise Reduction to
suit the circumstances.
Night Presets
Turn this feature On if the illumination of the night time views is different for the different
presets.
This allows the following to be set for each separate preset:
• Illumination:IR/White/None
• Sensor: Mono/Color
