At a glance
Touch a text field to open a touch keypad. Touch to
close it.
• Touch / to toggle between letters and numbers.
Touch to see more special characters.
• Touch and hold Shift to enter capital letters until you
release it. Double-touch Shift for caps lock. Touch it
again to unlock.
• Touch and hold to enter numbers/special characters
until you release it.
Input Settings
To change language and keyboard settings, touch .
• Input languages: Use your system language or select
your own.
• Android keyboard settings: Capitalization, sound, and
correction options.
Entry Options

To change entry options, touch Apps > Settings
> Language & input > Select input method
• For easy stylus input, select MyScript Stylus for
handwriting recognition. You can use the stylus to take
quick notes with Sticky Note or create tasks and more
with Evernote.
• Use SwiftKey Tablet X for easy, quick text entry.
SwiftKey Tablet X starts predicting what you want to
type from the moment you load it.
• With Swype, you enter words with one continuous
motion. Just drag your finger over the letters in the
word.
Tip: To configure and see detailed help information for the
input method you select, touch
Apps > Settings
> Language & input > Configure input method, then touch
Settings.
