Memory card folder structure
When you first insert a memory card into your phone, it
creates five folders labeled Audio, Image, Music,
Podcast, and Video. In order for your phone to access
supported media files, those files must be stored in the
appropriate folder. For example, a music file stored in
the Image folder cannot be accessed by
My Music
.
File names
Your phone will not recognize file names longer than 255
characters. If this happens, rename the file and reload it
on to the memory card.
Memory card access
Enable memory card access before connecting your
phone to your computer.
Find it: Menu >
Settings
>
Connections
>
USB
>
Memory Card Access
Once connected, your phone will appear as a removable
drive.
