Audio Settings
The Audio Settings Screen (see Figure 4-3) is used adjust the following audio sources:
•Internal
Handset
Headset
External (this option is currently not available)
The screen also enables to adjust the volume level of the internal, handset and desk
microphones.
Procedure 4-3 describes and Figure 4-3 shows how to adjust the MCD 5000 Deskset audio.

ROCEDURE 4-3 Adjusting Audio
1 From the MCD 5000 Deskset Home Screen, press and release Menu > Settings.
2 Use the Navigation Keys to select Audio. Press and release the OK Button.
3 Use the upper soft-keys to select an audio source.
4 Use the up and down arrows of the Navigation Keys to move between the
microphone input and speaker output.
5 Use the left and right arrows of the Navigation Keys to set Microphone and
Volume sliders to adjust audio.
NOTE
A red dot icon next to the Microphone slider indicates that the
microphone is not available.
6 Press and release OK to confirm your settings and return to the MCD 5000
Deskset Home Screen or use
Cancel to cancel changes and return back to the
MCD 5000 Deskset Home Screen.
