6 b or c to Messages and press g to select. The
current tone is indicated by a 9.
7 b or c to the required tone and press g to select. 9
appears beside selected tone.
OR
b or c to the Off and press g to select.
8 Press g to disable the Text Message ringing tones. The
display shows 9 beside Off.
OR
Press
g to enable the Text Message ringing tones. The 9
disappears from beside Off.
Escalating Alarm Tone Volume
You can program your radio to continually alert you when a
radio call remains unanswered. This is done by automatically
increasing the alarm tone volume over time. This feature is
known as Escalert.
Procedure:
1 g to access the menu.
2 b or c to Utilities and press g to select.
3 b or c to Radio Settings and press g to select.
4 b or c to Tones/Alerts and press g to select.
5 b or c to Escalert.
6 b or c to On to enable Escalert. The display shows 9
beside On.
OR
b or c to Off to disable Escalert. The display shows 9
beside Off.
