Home area code
When you dial your local calls
using only seven digits (area code

your home area code so that
when you receive a call within
your local area, the telephone

without the area code in the
caller ID log.
1. Press MENU when the handset
is not in use.
2. Press CID/
or / to choose
Settings, and then press SELECT.
3. Press CID/
or / to choose
Home area code, and then press
SELECT.
4. Use the dialing keys to enter a
three-digit home area code.
5. Press SELECT to save your

Dial mode

touch-tone dialing. If you have
pulse (rotary) service, you must
change the dial mode to pulse
dialing before using the telephone
to make a call.
